In an attempt to mark their protest against BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, a group of Samajwadi Party workers washed the statue of BHU founder Madan Mohan Malviya with Gangajal, minutes after Modi paid floral tributes to the statue on Thursday in Varanasi.
